We will be having our Parent's Meeting night this coming Tuesday 26th at 19:30.

Counties of Ireland Project

Due Friday 29th September

We will be learning about the counties of Ireland this term. Children have been asked to carry out a small independent project on the following counties. Children will be given an A3 sheet of card to display what they have learned and will get an opportunity to share their work with the class. 

The children may add to this A3 card if they wish. The projects will receive extra marks for the use of books and interviews as references. 

The children may present their project through PowerPoint if they wish.

Hi all,

a very warm welcome back to 5th Class! I hope everyone had a well earned break over Summer. This year the format for homework will be slightly different. The children will receive homework per night rather than per week. This may understandably be a frustrating transition for the children but is important in preparing them for moving forward through the 5th Class Curriculum.
